@maa1649 yes because those people couldn't possibly be employed doing anything else, they absolutely have to rely on huge government funding because, err, big government and big government contracts is good and the free market isn't apparently. Or something. Here's a thought, let the states abs private citizens worry about the defence of the US, how about that? I've yet to see any US military actually defend Americans, the one time we actually needed them on 911 the greatest intelligence service and air defence system in the world couldn't stop a bunch of Saudis from flying 4 huge jumbos full of Americans from flying into buildings full of Americans. Let's hope the Russians never decide to bomb us with supersonic jets because we've got absolutely no chance of stopping them
