@SirKnight1096 already been given up, the amount of censorship going on right now is a joke. Oliver stone’s documentary Ukraine on fire from 8 years ago where he fired in depth into the civil war and predicts all this has been pulled from YouTube, as have 6 years of the empire filled by Abby Martin and lots of other journalists works. They even took down some episodes of the hill with Kim iverson and a bunch of her stuff from years ago

@GearHedd the Russians aren’t interested in occupying Ukraine, which is why they aren’t trying to take territory. They’ve completely avoided the Center of the country where all the wheat fields are even though all that open flat farmland would be ideal to take. They’re concentrating on destroying the Ukrainian military

@GearHedd they might want parts of eastern and southern Ukraine but they’ve no interest in central or western Ukraine. They could have taken all the farmland easily but they’ve left it completely alone

@TomasLKarlik you can feel offended by it all you want but this is the real world and geo politics matter. Can Mexico and Canada do what they want without the USA’s permission? No of course not. Kennedy’s and kruschev’s deal over Cuba was verbal and carried more weight than any deal before and since. A deal is a deal and when you renege on it there are consequences you might not like. As Ukraine is finding out, it was in their constitution and part of the deal that guaranteed their sovereignty that they remain neutral. They reneged on that deal, and on the Minsk accords. You should listen and watch how the Ukrainian neo Nazi paramilitaries and government talk about and treat Russians when you talk about being treated as lesser people. Your bravado and bluster won’t mean anything if Russia gets invaded or worse, Ukraine will be the first country to get wiped off the face of the earth. How you think Ukrainians present and future is going to be better than it would have been if they had just stuck to the agreement to remain neutral is beyond me. The country had been taken over by neo Nazi paramilitaries with U.S. backing whose sole objective is to start a war with Russia and wipe out all Russians living in Ukraine

Russia isn’t trying to gain territory anywhere near as much as it’s trying to destroy the Ukrainian military. If you watch what it’s doing that is the primary objective of the Russian military. Hence why all their old equipment and conscript troops are in the front line
