That’s the question the coup leaders and their supporters have been acting. Niger’s government was about as democratically elected LBJ was. When injustice becomes law, rebellion becomes duty. If Governments refuse to listen to their citizens when they explain their anger, they should be prepared to feel it when they decide to express it.

@Jonathan-rv4lj Ukraine had a coup that was led by far right extremists who now run the military and security forces, against a democratically elected government, and it seems to have lasted. Not turned out very good for the country though, the very least thing Niger needs is a repeat of that. This seems to have popular support so it’s the peoples choice
