@afarensis79 America is the world’s biggest consumer of oil by far and the U.S. military is responsible for 50% of their demand. Without oil, there is no military. Hence why the entire country is set up to consume oil, if the people didn’t use it so much they wouldn’t put up with all the wars over it in their name. Hence the connection between oil and military

@barryosullivan6225 you don’t know much about Russian military doctrine or the daily range of a Russian battalion. Ever think that you might be listening to a lot of propaganda designed to boost the morale of one side and sap the morale of the other? The Russians are in no hurry at all, and in fact captured plans suggests they’re more or less on track with their anticipated timeline. I’ve never seen our media pushing an agenda so hard. It’s actually quite frightening because there’s clearly a reason for it. 1 million Iraqis died and barely 5000 have died in this war and the differences in reaction and reporting is astronomical
