  6.  @Ruslan-ub2ot  the US breaks International law all the time, apparently its ok as long as you're not doing it by having a democratic vote. Catalonia also voted for independence from Spain and the got screwed in the ass with many political prisoners taken and a lot of people beaten and killed. My guess is crimea didn't want to be like that. What I understand is that the majority of people living in crimea wanted to be with Russia, and people who are not from crimea arrived to keep them in Ukraine. Who gets to decide if people can have a democratic view or not and whether it is legal? I don't see the point in fighting over people who don't want to be part of the Ukraine. Unless of course its not the people you're fighting over but the strategic nature of the territory
