Ireland punches way above it's weight in terms of it's influence on the world. St Patricks day is celebrated the world over. Guinness is one of the most recognised brands in the world. Irish pubs are everywhere, in cities all over the world. I don't see American or Israeli or French bars anywhere. And then we could talk about music. Or fishing. Or sport. Or a ton of other stuff. For a country of only 5 million people, they do pretty fucking good.
