  4. Spurs have won 2 league cups in the last 50 years. If they join the esl their next 50 years will be even less successful. There's at least 20 or 30 clubs outside the "big 6" that have been more successful than them in the last 50 years. Leicester and Blackburn have both won as many Premier leagues as Liverpool and more than spurs
