Man Utd’s starting 11 cost £360m. Brighton’s starting 11 cost £17m. Brighton have just lost their 3 best players and the heart of their midfield, last season they lost 5 of their best players. Man Utd at old Trafford are still supposed to be formidable opposition, not a team that just rolls over as soon as they go a goal down.

@venom10125 That’s as maybe but it’s 343 million reasons to criticise Man Utd. The fact is Brighton have got a far better manager and a far better scouting network and they’re just more reasons to criticise Man U.

@bigpants6121 exactly. Fergie couldn’t handle players that he thought upsurped his authority, despite the fact the team was much better with them and that they were great servants for the club. Showed his insecurities there. Cloughy never had such problems.
