@cabezadepija7318 it doesn’t matter it you don’t, you still have a smart phone will apps on. And even if you don’t, you likely spend most of your time in the company of people who do.

@dorothygiselsson1345 oh we can, we can just emp the technology out of existence, or wait for the sun to do it for us with a massive solar flare ejection. Even the reversal of the Earth’s magnetic field is likely to fry most satellites and computer chips. Alternatively, we could see phones and social media in the same way as we now do cigarettes, and ban them completely from public places and from children under 16 and 18 (alcohol is banned in most states until you’re 21 and I would argue social media is far more harmful. At least alcohol encourage you to go out and socialise face to face). In the 80s and early 90s no one could imagine a world without cigarettes, but that was very quickly changed. Social media and smart phones are no different.
