Engineering Explained I'm guessing it's expensive to fix when it goes wrong

Jared Swaluk 1.2 million miles in ten years, really? That's 120 000 miles a year, 10 000 miles a month , 500 miles a day 5 days a week. That's a lot of driving

Just like my tyre garage tells me, Michelin are the best right now

Jay Dunbar oh right you're hauling freight? 50mph 10 hours a day, yeah that's doable. It's a lot of miles still cos you won't be averaging 50mph in reality, probably more like 30-35, which means you'd have to do 6 12 hour days rather than 5 10 hour days. That's a lot of driving. What's reefer freight, cannabis?

Can't I have both

Steve Skouson not really. Watch his video on tyre design

Jay Dunbar you can drive at 70 mph legally in the states?
1
Jakub Tabor if you assume an average of 50 mph that mileage would take 52 weeks of 6 day weeks driving for 10 hours a day. And before the EU introduced those restrictions, which the UK had the option to veto but didn't, deaths caused by hgv drivers were 5 times higher what they are now
1
Jakub Tabor there's another reason EU nations agreed those restrictions, probably pretty sensible really. Tbh 50mph is pretty generous given the state of the roads and traffic in the UK.

bcubed72 yeah? Plenty more don't. It ain't smokey and the bandit out there and I can tell you're definitely white. You speed on front of a cop when you're black and you're definitely getting pulled over and possibly shot
1
Because they don't sell them in America very much
