  2.  @ericross441  it depends on how rare life is in the universe, but if scything they would see humans as a dangerous infestation, as we have made thousands of surefire extinct and are endangering thousands more. They might well see us as a threat to the other lifeforms on the planet as well as possibly to them in the future and decide to do something about it
