  7.  @surf2257  the captain makes the final decision and is responsible for the safety of the vessel. The pilot doesn't drive the ship he merely tells the captain where to go, ie navigates. Like reading a map for the driver of a car. The pilot is the sat nav

  9.  @palvaani  ha ha ha ha I'm pmsl here pal, that actually sounds like it might be true, is that why that submarine they leased from the Russians hasn't been to sea for eleven years? They claimed they bumped the sail and damaged the sonar and radar but that doesn't take 11 years to repair
