  2. Helen Russell shut the fuck up because you tell me to? No. You call the premier Inn a classy hotel? Says it all. The daily mail, that shit rag? Apart from the fact its full of shit on a daily basis, being a mouthpiece for its billionaire non dom non tax paying xenophobic owner, all that article says is that football stadiums are checking there cladding. Whereas 95 out of 100 tower blocks have confirmed they have non fire retardant cladding on, how many football stadiums have? None. So why don't you shut the fuck up, you've got nothing. You're an idiot who thinks the premier Inn is a "classy hotel" because it's got premier in the name. You've not answered any of the points I've made which are all fact, it wasn't just the cladding, it was the appalling lack of fire safety standards throughout the entire building.

  3. Helen Russell incorrect. The cladding fancy hotels is made of zinc. This was far cheaper stuff made of aluminium,and the non fire retardant stuff to boit. Look up the difference with regards to combustibility. Apart from that, the cheap and combustibile closing that has failed fire safety tests was only one reason for the disaster. Residents had complained for over four years of inadequate fire safety standards in the building, including the fire alarm not working, the emergency lights not working, fire doors missing and not shutting properly, gas pipes installed in the only stairwell without fireproof cladding, internal hydrants not working, exits being locked shut, etc etc

Helen Russell no one cared that the rooms are being sublet, no one cared about the disabled elderly ww2 veteran on the top floor of grenfel, certainly the Conservative council of Kensington and Chelsea, with 300m in the bank, elected representatives who refused to hold a council meeting in public, didn't care. The residents who lived there cared. The residents association complained long and hard about that and all the other deficiencies in the fire safety standards in the building, for years, but they were ignored. The fact that you're resulting to insulting someone you've never met over the Internet because they've got more facts than you says it all. As Margaret Thatcher said, when they resort to personal attacks, it proves they haven't got a political argument left.
