  2.  @JohnDylan85 Mark Twain said “It’s easier to fool someone than convince them they’ve been fooled.” One of my favourite quotes. Of course, most people don’t think it applies to them, which is precisely the point. It’s the Dunning Kruger effect in action. Another favourite quote of mine is “The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those who speak it.” by George Orwell. There’s a common thread here.
