  4. That’s because British law gives more monetary value to slander and libel than anything else. There’s no money in child abuse and rape, hence why prosecutions convictions are at an all time low. The British police have never been much good at investigating child abuse, look at Jimmy Savile, Cyril smith and the Catholic Church.

They were about 3 years behind us in maths and had less knowledge of US history than we did. My overall impression was that they were generally, as you say, somewhat lacking in education
