Yeah, that’ll be the democracy that banned the opposition and arrested it’s leaders, closed down 3 tv stations that criticised the president for doing so then banned a further 11 opposition political parties, arrested countless elected mps, introduced known Nazis into its parliament, government and military and made a national hero out of an SS Nazi leader who slaughtered 34000 Jews and poles in the 1941 pograms. Yeah, really defending democracy from fascists there
