  1. Polish military experts have confirmed it’s an s300 with a Ukrainian serial number, they have a range of 90km, there are no Russian s300 silos within 90km of the polish border. This clearly came from Ukraine, and if so article 5 should be invoked against them

  4.  @goosey1046  why would it? They already fired a missile at Croatia and hit Zagreb. They’ve made no secret that they want NATO involved, of course they would try it. They can always claim it was an accident or a rogue element if it doesn’t get blamed on Russia. Just look at the USS Liberty

  5.  @liammurphy6063  Not at all, because they haven’t attacked a NATO country. Ukraine have though, and are denying it and blaming it on Russia to this day. You wouldn’t do that if it was a genuine accident, which means it was a deliberate attack on a NATO member to try and invoke article 5 on Russia. Imo this should be seen for what it is, an unwarranted act of aggression and responded to accordingly

  6.  @r200ti  could just as easily been deliberate. Although they’re primarily ground to air, s300s do have ground to ground capability. Their range is slightly increased but their effectiveness is limited, since they’re not designed for this

  7.  @liammurphy6063  the missile is Russian, Russia still uses s300s and they obviously thought the explosion would destroy any evidence and that Poland would just go along with it
