Bravery? Hiding behind women and children and using them as human shields? What do you call fighting with honour and meeting the enemy on the battlefield outside of civilian areas in order to protect them from harm, like the Argentinians had the decency to do in the Falklands or the Iraqi republican guard did outside Baghdad

Guarantee all of these women and children are Russian or Greek Ukrainians who Azov hate and want to see dead in their mission to “clean” Ukraine like their hero Bandera. They want them to die, they can use it as more propaganda against the Russians

Exactly, not a moment too soon either. I was beginning to think the country had finally lost all independent critical thought and two years of Covid restrictions had completely brainwashed us into believing everything the media tells us. I hope we are finally awakening and seeing this for what it is.

@TorchedSong183 far more independent than any media we have in the west and the only journalist anywhere who’s anywhere near the front lines. Because he does face to face interviews with survivors Ukraine and the USA are desperate to discredit him. Eye witness testimony is hard to counter when it gets out

@bluemoondaren tell us west Azov’s hero Bandera and his OUN did in the 1930s to them Polish and Jews in Galicia? Exactly what Azov are doing in Mariupol now, and what they and Adair have been doing in the Donbas and Odessa for the past 8 years

@theghostofbabanovac7069 except they’re not. There is no glory or honour from hiding behind women and children while you shoot at the Russians then complaining when they shoot back. These civilians have been taken hostage to be used as human shields so when they are killed in return fire Azov will trumpet it all over the Media as another propaganda victory

Russia rules the media? What planet are you on? Azov fire upon civilians, it’s well documented now that it’s them stopping civilians leave so they can use them as human shields and for propaganda purposes when they die. Azov hate Mariupol people because they’re all Russians and Greeks, they fired upon protesters there as early as 2014 and there is footage of this on YouTube. They wish to follow in the footsteps of their hero Bandera and “clean” Ukraine through ethnic cleansing and genocide. They are quite happy to see civilians die

They’re lying. And how do we know they haven’t or aren’t going to kill the children and then blame the Russians? If they waited to guarantee their safety they would have released them a long time ago, the fact they haven’t tells you that they don’t care about their safety they’re just using them as a human shield and for propaganda purposes

@angelwhisper7347 war never boils down to one man, world war 2 wasn’t just because of Hitler and World War One wasn’t just because of Gavrilo Princip. If you believe every piece of propaganda coming out of Ukraine I feel sorry for you. Why on earth would the Russians do that when they could score a huge propaganda victory by showing how they saved these civilians and getting eyewitness testimony that they were kidnapped and taken there against their will and prevented from leaving? You need to use your head. These are Russian and Greek Ukrainians, who protested against the coup of the democratically elected government in 2014 and who Azov were sent in to subjugate. Azov hate them and have killed them in the past and no doubt are doing so again

All the other civilians in Mariupol seem to have evacuated just fine, apart from Azov firing upon them. The mayor and his family had no problems at all. The Russians have said plenty of times for them to let the civilians go, I don’t see any benefit for them to kill them, on the contrary it would be a great propaganda coup for them to save them. I suspect that the reason they’re not releasing them is a) they’re afraid of what they will say and b) they know once they release them their positions will be overrun and they will either have to surrender or die

Azov are definitely using them as given shields against their will, they’re hostages. I think sac cold blooded as the Russians are they’re not actually going all out here, but Azov are firing on their positions so obviously they are going to return fire. These Nazis want these civic to die, they don’t care if the Russians do it or they do it, they will blame it on the Russians anyway for propaganda
