Martin Dworak-Larsen he works for Ryanair who have 200 737 max's on order. He's got a motive to be partisan. Whereas captain sully, who hasn't, said he wouldn't ever fly or ride on a 737 max. So there's that. And then there's the American pilot's association.

Robert Sparkes that's pretty much what happened to dc10s

Jaime yup. And the US government will happily oblige, ask the while bemoaning other countries for so called subsidising their industries. Its a pseudo communist state, bank rolling give private corporates and institutions with taxpayers dollars. The founding fathers will be rolling in their graves. Utterly disgraceful and an absolute travesty that the US public allow them to get away with it

andyman5446 you call that bravery? I'd call it something else

Russ Gallagher dunno if I'd go that far but knowing what tight arses Ryanair are and how ruthless they are at getting rid of pilots I bet they monitor his channel and therefore I'd say he's got a dog in the fight. Hard to be impartial when your job depends on one side innit. Everyone's got a reason for saying stuff and the most likely reason most of the time is money

Jaime no one cares or pays any attention when a cargo plane goes down

Mcas stands for May crash any second.

Dirk Barrow cheers fella. I'm a realist, sometimes that involves being cynical or critical. Everything for a reason. I like to know the reason. Could be that he knows if they get back in the air he's going to be flying one every day and he's trying to convince himself as much as us.

jonesmedia totally agree. You have to remember this guy works for Ryanair and they've got over 200 on order, so...

Chung Lee and knowing who wrote it in the first place, the same people rewriting it now
2
Gorbaz The Dragon why would you allow a system to be so powerful and override pilots inputs without checking rate of descent and ground proximity
1
Rohan4711 mcas should check basic fundamentals like terrain, altitude, rate of ascent/ descent etc to ensure it is safe to point the nose down.

Martina Thompson overtime is ten dollars an hour, Boeing are only willing to pay nine

@franciscodanconia45 except fur the people who end up dead , it's by good for them

@stevegiboney4493 yes he did. Prove he didn't if you're so sure, show me proof he flew a max, i bet you don't post any proof. You're just a boeing fanboy
1
@stevegiboney4493 yeah and after that simulation he said he'd never fly in one and he never did
1
andyman5446 not that rare, most people I know are doing that these days after all the max debacle
