Some advice from my own experience with depression, for what it’s worth. Be very careful who you tell and even more careful who you ask for help from. There’s nothing worse than being at lowest point of your life, so low you humiliate yourself by asking for help, then seeing your request refused. Being rejected when you’re at your most vulnerable isn’t very pleasant, at all. Personally I wish I’d never mentioned it and just continued to struggle on, because as bad as it was then it’s nowhere near as bad as it is now. I used to think I was at rock bottom but I’m so much worse now, and I look back to those days and think if only you realised how lucky you were.

Yeah mine too, until my health massively deteriorated and I was unable to exercise, then it returned with a vengeance. Find something long term amigo in case there comes a time when you can’t do it

@masrr3678 yeah? My gf got hit by a bus and was killed. My son was murdered. I lost my job, my house and my friends. I live on the streets and don’t speak to people for weeks. What exactly should I be grateful for?

The idea that this is the most peaceful time in history in a myth. Ask the 400 000 Yemenis or the one million Iraqis who have been killed by U.S. and Saudi wars. Ask the 3 million Cambodians Kissinger bombed to death. Ask the Russians and Ukrainians dying in America’s latest proxy war. Ask all the people currently being bombed by the USA in Africa, or fighting in US backed civil wars.

@bez1196 there’s no positives in my life, and imagining my like even worse than it is now isn’t going to do anything to cheer me up at all. It’s just going to manifest itself to become true

@sugoi9680 no, if I KMS I’ll be dead. Iv went be in any situation. Unfortunately I’ll leave people behind who will be, and ergo will then have a lifetime of regret rightfully realising they were part of the problem and didn’t actually do anything to help when they had the chance. So I’ll just have to live the rest of my painful life and hope it’s a short one

@sugoi9680 not really. I hardly see them anymore, so what’s the point in feeling lucky about them, when I was rich and successful I saw them all the time, now I’m just an embarrassment to them

@sugoi9680 pretty much. Actions speak louder than words. The Jews believe in God and think they’re the chosen people, but I’ve never heard one satisfactorily explain why God decided to cast the Holocaust upon them. I guess if there is a God I’ll find out when I die, hopefully sooner rather than later, but I don’t hold out much hope. If there’s a hell it can’t be any worse than the hell I’m living through on earth.
