@Gitfiddle being a war mongering corporate hawk is hardly left wing. Tulsi isn't a corporate lackey, she actually keeps in touch with the people she represents and actually wants to represent their interests, not the corporate interests they the dnc and gop push. It's got f all to do with left and right, that's just the politricks they push to keep the public fighting each other so they stay in power pushing the corporate agenda. I'm a lifelong Republican and I'd vote for Tulsi all day, even if I disagree with her on some issues, because I think she has something very rare in US politics.

@Gitfiddle Identity politics isn't left wing at all. I've read Marx and I can assure you he had a very dim view of identity politics. He warned that the ruling class would use identity politics to split the working class and create tensions between them in order to divide and rule. It's no more left wing than being a war mongering corporate hawk is. In the same way bailing out the banks and car industry isn't right wing, it's corporate socialism yet Republicans voted for it
