We had a Crusade Against Slavery we even tried to get the French and Spanish on board. Britian has done alot for today's laws it's the basis of modern democracy after all. Sure Greeks and Romans had democracy but we brought it back and improved on it with things like the Magna Carta and the Bill of Rights. I agree don't use cancel culture but certain things we do have to take a stand (like the slave like conditions for the workforce) make our voices heard obviously let them figure it out to themselves.
