  3. Why is it so trendy to blame every problem on "corporations" these days? It's nonsense. Housing prices are going up because the population is high and growing, so demand outstrips supply. There are large interstate migrations occurring right now and those migrations weren't part of any governments infrastructure planning. So it'll take another decade or more before infrastructure catches up to the influx occurring today, but by then who knows what demand will be like. Then on top of that you have to add the existing complexity of the market prior to CoVID that were already causing affordability issues, and the current state of inflation caused by the sanctions on Russia that only hurt us, not them. The politicians don't do anything because they don't have to in order to remain in office. They have no accountability at the ballot box. Nancy Pelosi has been in office for 33 years without interruption. Biden was a senator for 36 years before becoming vice-president, a total of 44 uninterrupted years in office prior to retiring. Mitch McConnell has been in office for 37 years. I mean seriously, these things don't happen by accident. They aren't being held to account. Let's be serious here because blaming problems on things that aren't the cause, or suggesting complex issues are singular in their causation helps nothing and no one. If you want a genuine solution, and you should, then you gotta took to the real source of the problems and stop chasing shadows.
