  1. 😂 Knife crime has been flat for years now. It's about one incident a month across England. That's one of the lowest rates in the EU. Youth are not carrying knives around because some random community group isn't getting enough funding. They aren't carrying them around because of trauma either. Grow up. Youth are carrying knives around because they see violence as an easy means to power and money. Anyone who thinks gangs aren't still going strong is utterly out of touch. These are kids who aren't taught responsibility, respect or accountability. They don't have strong parental figutes and role models in their lives. So they turn to violence and intimidation to get what they think is respect. "You can increase police patrols and they won't feel safer" This is probably the truest statement in this entire video. But for very different reasons than were intended. They won't feel safer because they're brought up thinking the cops are bad. They're brought up thinking following the law is for chumps. That to get street cred and money they have to break the law and hurt people. That's cultural. Until you change that culture you have no chance of fixing it. That cultural isn't changed with a soft approach. Drugs and gangs are always involved. But so are parents.
