  1. This is so ridiculous. Not a single mention anywhere or question to Mick Lynch regarding inflation and the impacts these kinds of IR disputes have on said inflation. Forget inflation rolling off in Q3 2023, if this kind of action continues it'll last into 2033, perhaps even 2043 if hyperinflation doesn't destroy the pound first. The farce here is the utter misunderstanding of the unions as to how inflation works. It would be great if channel 4 could do an ACCURATE explainer on inflation, what it is, how it's influenced and what attempts to get wages in line with it will do. Get an actual economist to explain it, not that tall thin guy with the glasses who fumbles over himself and hasn't a clue what he's talking about. He's like a channel 4 business reporter or something, but he's terrible. Mike Lynch and the rest of the union bosses need to answer how they're going to make amends to the country when they push up inflation and make cost of living dramatically worse.
