@dillilyeverage315 What a silly thing to say. It's ok, you hide behind your pseudonym lashing out at strangers. I understand it's only because you're angry with yourself for making such poor life decisions so now you're left financially destitute and expecting others to pick up the pieces for your mistakes.

The electricity generators and gas retailer are in fact NOT making profits at all. Overseas distributors, particularly from yankville are making a fortune however. You understand what happened don't you?

lol £82 is scary for food? Are you sure you're just not in the lower third of income earners?

@annemarie3636 It's only scary if you're too poor to afford it. Otherwise, it's just what's expected during a high inflationary event.

3:04 "Prompting fears people are getting into debt to fund everyday expenses" So, you mean much like the government has been doing since 2000? Trillions of pounds on the national credit card, trillions more to be added by the end of the decade, almost tripling national debt by 2030. Debt will be greater than 90% of GDP. The great grandchildren of today's kids will still be paying China back for this debt. An economic reckoning is coming, you think this is bad you ain't seen nothing yet. Income tax has to increase and not by a little bit, the clock needs to be wound back on 30 years of tax cuts to win elections in order to fund the nation again. It won't be enough though so services have to be slashed too. A new, slimmer NHS for example that doesn't include as many axillary services/allied health services. If the Tory's don't do it, Labour will. They have to, there's no other choice. The nation is insolvent. That's where the conversation has to start from, the reality that the government spend far more than they take in tax receipts. Not on how much you have left in your pocket today.

That's not at all true.

@420haxx Oh no, it's not at all regardless, that's the fundamental point of the whole thing that explains why in fact the prices aren't at all ridiculous. Those energy prices are a badge of honour. They're the price you pay to support the unelected dictator Volodymyr Zelensky in his continued and unrelenting murder of Ukrainian civilians across the Donbas, by ceasing energy imports from Russia and shutting down Nordstrom I & II, buying far more expensive and less energy dense (inferior) shale gas from yankville instead. The wealthy energy barons of yankville, including the Biden's thank you for your service. Why saying you don't support paying higher prices for your energy is like saying you don't support Ukraine slaughtering their own people and you want to buy gas from Russia again.
