  1. It won't be 200, that's the point. It will be the thousands crossing the channel by boat. It will be every irregular border crossing coming from Africa, every irregular border crossing coming from Pakistan. That's people coming from places where there are not internal events taking place which meet the criteria for asylum in the first place. Yes, that is absolutely a deterrent.
