Australia has not invested heavily in carbon capture. Carbon capture is always talked about as a potential way forward but has never been implemented by government. The mining giants in WA have invested heavily themselves in carbon capture as a voluntary project, and it has been exceptionally successful. Not a thing you wrote in your comment is based in fact.

@kostas9088 Denmark only produce 75% of energy from newables. Their target for 100% is 2050. Electricity in Denmark was 4.4DKK per Kwh (51p) in the second half of 2022 according to the denmark government statistics office. Electricity was 30p per Kwh in the UK over the same period.

What an absolute joke of a report. So much total nonsense, including outright lies. And anyone who believe labour that they're somehow going to stop drilling projects and keep the economy afloat is naive at best. Labour would have approved these projects the same as Tories have. Interesting slip from labour that they intended to invest in new nuclear, which is pie in the sky and won't actually happen. They're making unfunded pledges that the country cannot afford.
