  3. The King is not just "a rich person", nor is he simply a head of state. It isn't comparable directly to a presidsnt, he has more power in his fingernail cuttings than a yankvillian president ever will. The King is sovereign. That means there is no distinction between the King and the unified country of Britain. They're the same thing and are treated as such. The King can do anything he wants, and everything in the commonwealth belongs to him, including you and every cent you generate. All the land is his, even the land you think is yours. Every doctor in Britain is his doctor. He is not accountable to anyone but himself, not parliament, not his friends, not the people. No one. That's how a dictatorship, cough, I mean the monarchy works. It's his country, he just lets you live in it and work for him.

  13. The UK does not have a constitution, and the joke of some separate enacted legislation taken together is not anything even remotely like a constitution. Particularly when whoever has the crown could wipe it away with the wave of a hand, or parliament could seek to change or repeal any piece of it without the say of the people. It's a farce that they try to pass that nonsense off as a constitution.

  14. @Guitar-qv6gu  I'm sorry, but no, and that's a very silly thing to say. There is no self-respect in wishing your master a speedy recovery. Self-respect in this context comes from struggling for not being under the control of one wealthy family.
