  1. Why is channel 4 trying to spread misinformation in an attempt to spike hysteria? There's tabloid reporting, and then there's just being irresponsible. The only remotely reasonable part of this video is the Andrew Bailey interview, and even then the reporter is trying to goad Gov Bailey into making nonsensical statements to push hysteria. Channel 4 should get a grip on what inflation means, because what they're reporting is BS. Channel 4 keeps throwing around recession as if it's terrible, but it's a darn sight less terrifying than structural inflation or dare I say it hyperinflation. One only needs to look to Lebanon to see what happens when inflation isn't controlled.
