Comments by "TJ Marx" (@tjmarx) on "Elon Musk biographer says billionaire has 'dark demon mode'" video.
This was a 21 minute ad for a book that involved asking the most absurd, ideologically driven questions possible. Whilst he handled it with grace, you can see the author was not at all pleased with the avenue of questioning. TBC, I don't like musk. It seems blatantly obvious to me that musk is and always has been a PT Barnum kind of fellow. But the line of questioning here was just absurd. Musk hasn't changed his politics either. He's still saying the same centrist stuff today that he's always said. It's just the left have moved so far left that even the centre seems far right to them. Freedom of speech isn't an idea from the right btw. Freedom of speech is a centrist ideal, rooted in egalitarianism. It's what allows the woke to spout the obvious nonsense that they spout. The problem with social media is quite simple. Governments and law enforcement are asking private companies to do their jobs for them. So instead of real legal accountability for committing crimes, people just have their post taken down or their account deleted where a new one can be instantly created in it's stead. What social media needs is law enforcement, police, to take the harassment, death threats and other crimes committed on it seriously, to prosecute the individuals responsible (particularly those operating the large bot networks used to defame and harass) and make a big public show of the whole thing.

Elon believes he was bullied and by modern definition of bullying that's all that is necessary for one to have been bullied. Perhaps instead of debating whether a stranger was or was not bullied in his past, you might take the time to ponder why we should care at all one way or the other. Can you point to anyone you know who doesn't feel like they were bullied in school? This "anti-bully" nonsense, that is actually just more bullying has got to stop. Nature didn't mess up giving social animals these traits

@mattfaustini Sure. If you're strong enough. Which is the whole point of bullying. Here's a question for you with that logic though. By definition all organisations with authority engage in bullying. Would you hit a police officer? Frankly, I don't care if one of the richest men in the world was or was not bullied as a child. It's a non-starter. Utterly irrelevant. Bill Gates got stuffed into lockers when he was a kid too. Listen, some people rise to the challenge of life and others don't. It's genetics and upbringing, nature and nurture together. The author in this video talked a lot about how no one in yankville (and really most of the west) can build anything anymore. That's because we're rewarding weakness instead of driving people to push themselves out of their comfort zones just in case it upsets the losers.

@MultipleOffenses Wow mate. What a ridiculous thing to say. Do you feel proud of yourself?

@mattfaustini He made friends with Peter Thiel, and was part of PayPal. He used the money from PayPal as capital going forward. No government just looked at a random South African and said, let's give you a bunch of funding. Get real. Musk is a PT Barnum kind of fellow, but let's not pretend he didn't get himself to where he is. Meanwhile if we want to look for villains we need to look no further than Thiel, whose motivations for creating PayPal were to take over the world bond villain style. Whom has a veto stake in Facebook and was behind the Libra play to again take over the world. Who literally buys up and closes or sues into bankruptcy any media organisation who publish anything he's doing in a negative light. Everyone is focusing on the sideshow instead of the main attraction.
