The reality is Farha won't be watched by or touch but a tiny fraction of what it could for one simple reason. It isn't in English. Of the much smaller percentage of people willing to watch a film with subtitles, many won't get the full emotional impact because they will be too busy reading. That's why only a few Israelis protested the film but it wasn't attacked with the full geopolitical force of the government. Because by being in Arabic it's audience is significantly limited. You want to reach the western mainstream, it has to be in English.
