Net zero is an accounting trick. India and China can do all of this and still reach net zero. How? Because NET doesn't mean GROSS. NET means after you substract all the offsets. So all India and China have to do is send some money to parts of the world with little to no carbon emissions in order to have them "offset" those carbon emissions (that is to say on their books india and chinas emissions where actually theirs). Spread that across enough places and everyone looks on paper like they have low emissions while emissions actually grow. Net zero has always been a lie. It's a greenwashing scam to sell you products you don't want or need, and to gain support for higher prices. That's the entire point. Plastic bags at the shops didn't magically change from single use to multiuse because they started charging for them. They were literally the same bags only now you had to pay for them. Now they've got rid of the plastic and want to sell you inferior paper bags for 25c to $1 each defending on the store which ironically means we're cutting down trees that could otherwise sequester carbon. It's a huge lie that does nothing to benefit climate change.

That polestar comment was absurd. If they could actually deliver cheaper, cheaper running, reliable, clean vehicles, they wouldn't need government legislation to compete. The market would just be buying them. That government needs to try to force these things on us tells you everything you need to know about them, and that it isn't for your benefit.

What are the chances part numbers are being superceded because Toyota see a large supply of counterfeit parts in the market with the part number on it, so Toyota supercede the number in order to determine the counterfeit from genuine?

I don't think it's inevitable at all. The problem is, every federal and state sitting member is a housing investor, and the developers are some of the parties biggest donours. The people making housing policy are the very same people benefiting most from said housing policy. It's called corruption. You can't expect the corrupt to end their own corruption. Any change that did come in to the system, you can be sure would benefit them and their mates even more.

I know some people are making a point about the fact this guy was a soldier. However, it is important to understand that a POW requires there to be a war. A war requires there to be two states with professional military forces going up against each other. That is not what is happening in Gaza. It is an occupied territory under blockade. They are essentially prisoners. If prisoners in a jail take their guards captive thost guards are not POWs. They're hostages. So it is important to understand that hostage is the correct term for this guy even as a soldier because he isn't being held by a military. He's being held by a civilian resistence. These are very important distinctions to make because that is what makes what Israel is doing a war crime and a crime against humanity. I don't think anywhere near enough is made about dual citizenship. Let's remember what citizenship is, it isn't just membership to a club. It's a promise of allegiance to your people. That you believe in the country, will participate in its processes and will defend it against all who would seek to cause harm to it. You can't be aligned in that way to two countries at the same time because if those two countries ever went to war even if that's an unlikely possibility, you would need to pick one side over the other. The side you would pick is the side you have actual allegiance too and the other country is just there for its benefits. There is no difference in functional outcomes between a dual citizen and an illegal economic migrant. Worse still, if their allegiance is to another country, they are in fact a national security risk and a mole. Dual citizenship should be illegal. It should similarly be illegal to serve in a foreign military force except where enlisted domestically and posted as an official military swap between allies. This soldier either wouldn't have been a soldier at all, or wouldn't have had US citizenship had that been in place. Either way, the US national security would be stronger right now, and the president would be in a much better negotiating position. Making dual citizenship illegal must be a priority. If you allow dual citizens, I don't see you as a real country.

Vote non-incumbent independent. If there are no independents, vote informally. 38 independents out of 151 seats takes back the house for the people. Voting informally en masse wheee there are no independents reduces the legitimacy of the parties who can not claim a mandate. This is our last chance Australia. Those electoral reforms come in after this election and cement us with the uniparty.

It's interesting that you assume these were intended for spying in foreign lands, as opposed to domestic spying on other agencies. That would explain why it was never talked about being found. Because no domestic agency would want to alert people they were compromised by the nsa I reckon firewalk was deployed against domestic targets and allies.

Best video on the Grayl I've seen so far, it earned my sub. So here's my question, I keep seeing all these claims (which appear to come from the manufacturer) that it filters out pathogens including viruses...but has anyone actually independently verified these claims? There's no regulation on these kinds of claims from this class of product, so repeatable independent verification of the claims are necessary. That pouring coke into it still comes out looking and tasting like coke doesn't give me much confidence that it's filtering out far smaller particles such as viruses.

@MyLifeOutdoors I'm ok with sponsored videos, dogs gotta eat. You put in an amazing amount of effort to your videos, I appreciate that and you should absolutely reap the rewards. Certainly to some extent I'm just razing you. But on the other hand, the way you said that line absolutely made it sound like an infomercial. In your previous videos you would have described the price as "around $300" or just stated the price. I don't know if that line came from you or sports basement but it felt a bit icky. Particularly compared to your usual style which is so upfront (which is so refreshing). Sure $11 under $300 isn't $300 but it isn't that big a difference to warrant that kind of a line. It's still very much in the general ballpark of $300. At $300 it seems like it would probably be a decent sleeping bag, so there really wasn't a need to quibble over $11. Do I get the steak knives now? 🙃

Great video, helpful as always. Unrelated question though, why do you still cover your face? Your face has been in full view in reflections on multiple videos over the years. Is the face covering a brand thing?
