@veritasliberabitvos454 Tyrese had a well written pre-nup which got thrown out. Hence the reason he owes around 750k in legal fees (250k for him and 500k for his wife). Although, he is currently appealing the pre-nup getting thrown out. If he loses, he will owe in excess of 1 million in legal fees.

10:54 MHD is wrong here. Tyrese's pre-nup did not hold up in court hence the reason he owes around 750k in legal fees because he has to pay her legal fees too as his pre-nup failed to protect him. However, he is currently appealing the judge's decision and seeing if an appeal judge will uphold his pre-nup. Marriage is such a joke.

@eatshityoutube3271 assuming the next judge does not mess up, Tyrese should win. However these judges / adjudicators screw up all the time. Either way, Tyrese takes a massive L because his own legal fees (which he will have to pay for) are over 250k despite having a pre-nup. LOL

@veritasliberabitvos454 you clearly have absolutely no idea about pre-nups. one of the major functions of a pre-nup is to agree legal fees in divorce. the pre-nup said she would pay her own legal fees in a contested divorce. She is now disputing the pre-nup and saying Tyrese should pay her legals fees. Tyrese is currently appealing the pre-nup getting thrown out. In theory he should win in appeal's court and his wife should pay her own legal fees. However, if the appeal judge also goes against him too, then he is screwed and will owe in excess of 1 million in his and her legal fees. Tyrese got a real pre-nup from a real family law attorney.

@KidArkx you can google the tyrese case and read about it. the 3 major reasons for a pre-nup are 1. agree on division of assets, 2. agree on alimony, 3. agree on legal fees. how have you never heard of pre-nups talking about legal fees when this is one of the main functions of a pre-nup?????!!!!! @veritasliberabitvos454 the legal fees part IS upholdable. this is the main point of a pre-nup. to determine who is paying the legal fees (as well as alimony and division of assets). when tyrese goes to appeals court, the appeal judge will probably reverse the pre-nup getting thrown out. although, there is a possibility the appeal judge may form a different opinion and keep the pre-nup thrown out. it ultimately depends on the individual judge's opinion. I don't understand what is so difficult to understand here??? you don't appear to have even a basic understanding of family law, pre-nups, how to legal system works, and how to appeal incorrect decisions made by a judge.

@KingsguardX she hired 3 legal firms and busted the pre-nup. hence the reason why Tyrese owes his legal fees and her legal fees. Tyrese didn't incentivize divorce, he incentivized uncontested divorce, there is a big difference. that difference is worth around 500k of her legal fees that he now has to pay because the pre-nup was busted by her 3 law firms. the "error" the adjudicator made is going to appeal's court. the judge may over rule the adjudicators mistake which would save Tyrese around 500k. however Tyrese will still need to pay his 500k in legal fees. So, either way, Tyrese is taking an L despite having a pre-nup. You can't really describe Tyrese's pre-nup as iron clad because it got busted and failed to protect Tyrese on legal fees.

@NyakzOTSD that is a fair explanation. i guess that I mean the pre-nup failed to protect him against her legal fees. as you say, the judges just do whatever they like. they are all powerful.

@veritasliberabitvos454 it is clear you have no understanding of pre-nups. pre-nups cannot create a child custody agreement or child support agreement. however the birth of a child does not invalidate a pre-nup that only talks about 1. alimony, 2. division of assets, and 3. legal fees. People like you are damaging because you spread falsehoods around pre-nups. Shame on you.

More and more judges are now female. I think Steven Crowder's divorce judge is female. This is going to increasingly become the case as more and more college educated law students become women.

@NyakzOTSD the pre-nup did stipulate that everyone pays their own legal fees but only in the case of a contested divorce. the problem Tyrese had was the adjudicator said their divorce was not contested and so Tyrese should pay for everyone's legal fees. Tyrese is currently getting drilled into the ground by Sam on legal fees and child support. her child support of 20k/month is so high it is essentially alimony. He now has an epic financial burden of over 1 million in legal fees, and 20k/month in child support which the judge increased to epic proportions to get round the pre-nup which said no alimony.
