  1. It seems that humans are serially monogamous, i.e. most will move from one relationship onto another. I don't think everyone is wired to deal with the monotony of being in a relationship for 50 years with one person. If people are wired towards novel seeking, new chapters, new people, thrill seeking, serial monogamy, etc that is OK.
