My in-laws were OK. It was my ex-wife that was the problem. Neither of us had any divorce in our family history. The problem is if the husband is a weak beta SIMP and the wife is aggressive, bossy, combative, and disagreeable, then the marriage won't work regardless of in-laws, finances, kids, etc. Problem is most millennials and Gen Z are not 50 year marriage material. And even if they are marriage material, they will end up picking the wrong spouse for the wrong reasons.
