Getting married to the mother of your children is one of the worst mistakes a man can make. Once he does this, she has all the power and leverage in family court. Husbands will lose their money, house and kids on divorce. Once she has the ring, house and kids, it is GAME OVER for the husband. I got myself into this mess and ended up losing 70% of my money, assets and home equity on divorce in the UK.

@mikeheaton8424 losing 70% is an injustice that I will never get over. It will stay with me for the rest of my life. Thank god marriage is becoming less and less common, and will probably be extinct in the next 50 years or so.

@xcurrentbreeze6626 marriage and divorce are linked because once you get married the wife can apply for divorce anytime in the next 50+ years. Therefore if you think the divorce laws are unfair, that means marriage is unfair because the wife will have all the leverage in that marriage, as she can threaten the husband with divorce at any time. Therefore marriage is still the worst financial decision a man will probably ever make. This explains why marriage rates are declining and marriage rates are at an all time low.
