Women advocating for an institution (marriage) which they will benefit from, e.g. by taking the money, house and kids on divorce. Surprise, surprise. Marriage was worth it in my parents and grandparents generation due to a survival need. However now women have jobs, the backing of the family courts and they want to be independent boss babes, marriage has now become a fool's errand.

In my parents and grandparents generation, men and women needed each other. However, this link has been broken now women have jobs and the backing of the family courts. Because women don't need men, they now have very high standards for men (e.g. emotional vulnerability) which most men can't meet over a 50 year marriage. Please interview "The Lead Attorney". He can explain why a traditional 50 year marriage is no longer realistic.

I wouldn't necessarily give up but you have to accept that what you are looking for, e.g. a women who is willing to stay with you in a traditional 50 year marriage, is becoming rarer and rarer now they have jobs and the backing of the family courts. It is honestly better to stay single, happy and rich rather than divorced, depressed and poor. Good luck either way.

Zuby should do an interview with "The Lead Attorney". He is a 20 year divorce attorney and would be able to explain to Zuby why the days of a 50 year traditional marriage is gone for millennials and Gen Z. Women can divorce now that religion is declining, divorce is normal, family courts favour women, social media encourages single independent boss babe life, women get emotionally bored in a 50 year marriage, women have financial independence, humans are biologically serially monogamous, etc.

Best people to interview on the topic of marriage are Dr David Buss (scientist), Dr Orion Taraban (clinical psychologist), and The Lead Attorney (divorce attorney). They all say exactly the same thing. Humans are a serially monogamous species (not lifelong pair bonding). And the best wives are mentally and emotionally stable, stress resistant, calm, patience, tolerant and agreeable.

Marriage is not commitment. It is just a piece of paper. The piece of paper doesn't mean anything because you can get divorced. What laws are you talking about? No fault divorce? Financial divorce laws? Child custody?

@ilikecommenting6849 a lot of your comments are fundamentally flawed. For example, I do not technically or legally pay alimony each month because I got rid of that obligation by increasing the share of the house that my wife was awarded (70%). So although I do not legally pay alimony (I made still lost money in alimony by giving up a greater share of my former house). As you say, 95% of the paperwork is amicable but divorce paperwork doesn't say amicable or non-amicable. After paying thousands in legal fees trying to fight against the system/judges, men give up and concede to the wife's demands in order to stop her doing parental alienation and in order to stop the crushing legal fees. There is a reason why marriage is going extinct in many Western countries. It is way too dangerous for men. Hence the creation of pre-nups in some countries.

@LebbMangenaShow I don't think you really understand marriage. If I get married in 2020 with no kids, should I have been able to predict divorce in 2025 when we have 1 kid? Should I have been able to predict divorce in 2030 when we have 2 kids? Should I have been able to predict divorce in 2045 when the kids are grown up? How do I develop these god-like powers that give me the ability to predict the future? You don't seem to be aware that people change over the course of time.

More of the RP conversation needs to shift towards thinking about whether you as a man are capable of being a good husband, and whether the woman you are choosing is capable of being a good wife. And if the answers to both those questions is "yes" how to do you know this for certain? And what are the legal and financial risks if things go wrong? The Lead Attorney can answer all these questions. Please interview him, Zuby.

Rich Cooper said it best. Smart men don't marry. It is not worth it. There are zero benefits and just a bunch of extremely painful risks. I lost 70% of my money and assets, including my house, in my UK divorce despite my wife earning more and us only having 1 kid. I didn't even end up with 30% after paying my legal fees. My marriage and divorce have financially ruined me. Dont do it.

Marriage is out dated. Most modern people don't have the emotional and mental stability to survive the long term monogamy and monotony of marriage. You can pick the best wife, but if she changes 10 years later after kids, you are screwed. It is impossible to predict how your 50 year marriage will work out. It is probably not worth the risk.

Zuby, can you interview "The Lead Attorney" or "Jonathan Noble"? Both are 20 - 30 year divorce lawyers. And have an interview around whether family court is biased against men and whether men should still get married in 2023? Like you, I live in the UK and I lost 70% of my money, assets, and home equity in my UK divorce. The point being that losing 50% is a myth and that divorce financially ruins men whereas the wife/mother's standard of living remains similar pre- and post-marriage. I think this partly explains why marriage is slowly going extinct. For example, according to the ONS, in the UK there used to be 400k marriages/year in the 1970's but now there are only 200k marriages/year. Myron's comments at 5:05 pretty much sum up the risks of marriage for men.

@SweatyFatGuy You should do more content on your experience of long term marriage and the family courts. This type of red pill content is gaining popularity. I lost 70% of all my money and assets in my UK divorce, so I know what it is like to be financially screwed by the divorce courts. I think the biggest mistake men make is assuming their marriage will last forever. Men need to realize, she is not your girl, it is just your turn.

@JeffCaplan313 depends on whose life you are talking about. some people are unable to consider the meaning of life and fulfil their potential because they are slaves, being trafficked, living on less than a dollar/day, etc. I don't understand why you asked such a vague question.

Do you mean no fault divorce laws? Or laws around financial division on divorce?

@MarkLeel at fault divorce just results in people making false allegations, or just ticking the irreconcible differences box. So, either way, even without no fault divorce, it would still be pretty easy to get out of a marriage. I think your view that unhappy people should stay in a marriage is very extreme. Those days are long gone now women are educated, have high paying jobs and the backing of female judges in the divorce courts.

@bridoc519 this is the exact same rhetoric that a bunch of other divorced millionaire / billionaire guys used to preach while they were married, e.g. Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Tom Brady, Arnold Schwarzenegger, The Ruler of Dubai, Dr Dre, Kanye West, Tyrese, Prince Charles, Donald Trump, etc. To be fair to you, the first 15 years are the hardest, so you might potentially be safe. At the end of the day, 50% of people don't get divorced too.

@SweatyFatGuy I think other big mistakes are assuming they will never get divorced (i.e. divorce only happens to other people), assuming she is in love (when she is really just in business and just trying to get kids and child support), and, I agree, assuming the family courts fair (when they are really extremely biased).

@MarkLeel if someone wants divorce e.g. they are being treated badly, why chain them to their spouse and prevent them from divorcing? I think no fault divorce is good. It just shows everyone how ridiculous marriage is.

@MarkLeel if no fault divorce was cancelled, people would just tick the "irreconcilable differences" box and just make a bunch of false allegations. judges in family court don't have the time to waste on this BS. People just need to tick "no fault" and be done with it. Your suggestion of no no-fault divorce is not workable and practical. It would have people drowning in legal fees and false allegations. Divorce is bad enough without false allegations. Particularly if the false allegations relate to the kids, which would make it a million times worse for the men. If men are too scared (or smart) to take the gamble and risk of marriage, just don't get married. Simple.

Good luck to you. Your parents and grandparents marriages don't count as they had to stay together for survival and social reasons. However your siblings and cousins are very impressive. Main thing is, don't rush into marriage. If you do rush in, you will probably end up regretting it for the rest of your life. If you are going to do marriage, vet her properly, chose wisely, and consider getting a pre-nup.

Women get divorced because they get bored and don't need a man. They generally have a job and the backing of the family courts. Men get divorced because they are sick of their wives moaning and complaining about everything, all of the time. Modern women have very high expectations now they are educated, in high paying jobs, get a lot of attention online through social media, etc.

💯% facts. Most women do not have the emotional stability, calmness, patience and tolerance to endure a monotonous and boring 50 year marriage. Women and marriage are antithetical. Women crave excitement, thrills, spills, drama and chaos. Marriage is the complete opposite to this. It doesn't make sense for a women to stay married once she has the diamond wedding ring, house and kids.

@LebbMangenaShow my parents and grandparents have not divorced. the same is true on my ex-wife's side. the advantage they had is that the wife did not work and therefore had to stay with the husband in order to survive (regardless of how bad the marriage became). however, in 2023, wives don't need to stay with their husband because they have their own jobs plus the backing of the family court system plus the backing of their friends. you cannot compare my parents/grand parents marriages to millennial / Gen Z marriage. the dynamics and traditions are completely different due to women's empowerment. also, another point worth mentioning is that most millennials and Gen Z are not marriage material. They don't have the calmness, patience, tolerance and mental stability to survive in a monotonous and long term 50 year marriage.

@richardy2071 for most divorces "treated badly" or "irreconcilable differences" is normally where one partner spends all their time working and the wife feels neglected and bored. However feelings and emotions are very important for the wife (equivalent to cheating for men) so they file for divorce. This explains why lesbians have the highest divorce rates.

From what I can see the first 1.5 minutes is problems with the red pill, and the last 9 minutes is problems with feminism/Esther, e.g. masculine women, two equal leaders, 304s, etc. Zuby made a couple of great points: 1. two equal leaders clashing- this will be particularly true over a 50 year marriage (assuming the marriage lasts that long), and 2. age of Esther, i.e. as you gain 10 years of experience of actually being married and actually having kids, your thoughts and opinions will be completely different, especially if you end up divorced, etc. I think Esther made an interesting point about men not liking women, i.e. men may not even be psychologically/emotionally capable of fully understanding a women in the specific way that she wants to be loved and understood.
