Men are in love while women are in business. Men value love while women love value. Most guys think exactly like you. Its not until divorce court when your losing your money, house and kid do you realize you have ruined your life.

@goldmidwest the problem with most men is that they are completely unrealistic. a 50 year lifelong marriage for millennials / Gen Z is a completely delusional expectation. it is more realistic / healthy to have 5 x 10 year relationships with 5 different woman, than 1 long hellish 50 year marriage, where she can shout and scream at you, because you gave her the ultimate stability and security. you just have to accept that people get bored, people change, and new people come into our lives.

Men and women both have trouble taking life seriously in their 20's. Guys want physical intimacy from a variety of girls. Girls what attention from Chad and Tyrone. In their 30's, I think girls get sick of Chad and Tyrone, and normal guys are now in a financial position to be a provider. Problem is: beta provider + Chad's leftovers = Divorce.

Women also file for divorce more, have higher levels of marital dissatisfaction when married, and live shorter lives compared to unmarried women. I think women just want the husband's kids and husband's wallet, but not the husband after they get bored with him.

A man will sacrifice his life for his family. A women will sacrifice her family for her life. I don't think women care if kids do better in a 2 parent household. Her priority is her happiness / emotions. Men and women see marriage and kids completely differently. Men see it as the destination, women see it as just another stepping stone in their life story. There is no going back to the traditional days.
