  1. Women long term want financial security (i.e. marriage) and kids. They don't necessarily want the husband long term. This is even more true when women are settling for beta males rather than Chad or Tyrone (who they still pine for, i.e. alpha widow). Most low value beta's will offer marriage because they have nothing else to offer. However long term this works out badly for the low value beta who loses his money, house and kids in divorce.
