Its impressive how logical and sensible women can be are in terms of their ability to assess and choose based on value, benefit and hypergamy. Its sad how illogical, emotional, and delusional men can be in terms of thinking they will buck the divorce trend, get married without a prenup, and thinking "she loves me for me".

@suefleming I agree. I believe in long term relationships etc. But the deluded hope that signing a piece of paper will magically ensure two people will stay together is a fairy tale. Unfortunately marriage is outdated and hence the reason why it is on the decline and dying out worldwide.

@Kristy_not_Kristine Makes sense. If both people are not scared of communicating with each other in an open way and are both mentally, emotionally, and psychologically stable enough to discuss their future marriage and financial arrangement thereafter, they are probably mentally, emotionally, and psychologically stable enough to survive a 50 year marriage.

@manifest2203 wouldn't have to sign a prenup if they just avoided legal marriage in the first instance. Men are more emotional. You just have to look at the prison population and self-deletion statistics as evidence of this.
