It is happening very slowly and quietly, but more and more men (particularly divorced men, men who are related divorced men, sons of divorced men, etc) are realizing the juice isn't worth the squeeze. It is not worth getting into a relationship/marriage where the money, house and kids are treated like 1st class citizens and the husband/father is treated like a 2nd class citizen. Not just by the wife but also by Karen the divorce judge who will take away his money (alimony/child support), house and kids away from him. Relegating him to renting a tiny apartment/moving back in with his parents, and seeing his kids on the weekends (assuming the kids have not already been turned against him).

@katiez688 I think this depends on country. For example, in the UK around 50% of marriages have gone extinct in the last 50 years, e.g. there used to be 400k marriages/year in the 1970's but now there are only 200k marriages. This extreme drop probably relates to the fact that there is no pre-nup legislation/laws in the UK. I think the marriage extinction rates are a lot slower in the USA (only a 20% drop in the last 30 years) because I believe in the USA richer people can use pre-nups to protect themselves. In countries where there is a culture of pre-nups (e.g. USA) I don't expect the marriage extinction rates to be as severe as the UK (where I am from).

@RedEyeification 💯, either way, the divorce will be twisted against the husband/father. You can't win. If any guy gets married in 2023, he only has himself to blame when the wife threatens divorce. All the information is out there. There is a cohort of wives who only use marriage as a way to get the money, house and kids, the husband/father is just a wallet and gene donor who can be disposed of at any time.
