I have heard divorce lawyers say a similar thing. Many women are not interested in the relationship. They are interested in what the the relationship can provide and do for them, e.g. kids, money, properties, etc. It is the main reason why women want marriage and also why women want divorce (i.e. the extraction of the money, kids and home from the husband).
