Listening to people like Dr David Buss and The Lead Attorney, both seem to agree a very important personality trait in the wife is calmness, peacefulness, patience, tolerance to stress, emotional stability, agreeableness. If your wife is aggressive, bossy, combative, disagreeable you will end up in a high conflict divorce.

@ALForb I have no sympathy for guys who go through multiple bad divorces, etc. You should have learnt from your first rodeo. Ultimately, trash men go for trash women, because that's all that trash men can get. Trash men often seem grateful to get a trash women as they see it as a small win (however long term it epically back fires).

@ALForb its a bit like any piece of advice, e.g. telling fat people to eat healthily, telling broke people to study and focus on getting promotions, etc. It is also valid to tell inexperienced guys that dating difficult, moany and complaining women is going to hugely back fire long term in divorce when she is trying to take all your money, your house and your kids away from you. You may be at a particular point in your life, where this message is no longer relevant to you. But for a lot of young inexperienced people who have no options and are in difficult relationships, this information could potentially be useful to them in terms of saving them long term pain and suffering.

@ALForb non-trash people, for the most part, are fine unless they have actually had bad experiences in real life. In this case, you can't really blame the non-trash person for being cynical. The internet, for the most part, is unlikely to turn anyone cynical as most people have the "divorce will never happen to me" superiority attitude and can't relate to this type of content (which makes up a very tiny niche area of the internet). Most non-trash people do not think about relationships this deeply.
