Chomsky is a Russian bot. Putin had a STATED policy of genocide in Ukraine. Yet, Chomsky totally ignores that. Chomsky once was a source of valid criticism of the US. But, to side and support a proven enemy of mankind, would be like supporting Hitler in the 40's.

Chomsky really shows his ignorance about our foreign policy under Trump. 1. Our foreign policy towards China was FULLY done by Mike Pompeo. The US was amazingly consistent for the 4 years. 2. Regarding Russia, it was different. Trump and Putin were BFF's. So, Pompeo had nothing to do with that. BUT -- even there Trump was consistent. Trump denigrated and undermined NATO. That was done for all 4 years.

Regarding China, the US has been VERY consistent. Starting with Obama's pivot towards Asia, the US has been steadily changing course away from China, and dismantling the tight trading relationship that was intentionally built up for 30+ years. Obama's pivot. Followed by Trump's "trade war". Followed by Biden's decoupling. Don't you see the pattern?? It was intentional. And, would have happened no matter WHO was president. Look at our Cold War - from 1947 to 1989. The US was consistent and steady. Our policies did not falter at any time, under any president. We are doing the same with China. One of the big myths that many people and foreign governments have is that the US is whimsical. Highly publicized minor conflicts help give that impression. On important things, central to our security and interests, the US is amazingly steady.
