  1. Most of the models losing sales are sporty cars. I believe that speed bumps are the cause. Speed bumps have become ubiquitous in most cities. Sports cars are destroyed by them. Speed bumps destroyed my last car, a minivan. Hit one too hard, and it caused a transmission leak. I now drive an SUV because it has the robust suspension necessary to take them on, plus the higher road clearance useful in taking them more comfortably.
