  1. Trump can be influenced and manipulated with flattery. Putin has shown that. Trump's "anti-China" stance, IMO, is very thin. It is not fundamental to his thinking, unlike Biden's opposition to both China and Putin, which came from very deep ideas about human rights, and how the future world needs to function. I do not trust Trump to side with Taiwan when the showdown comes.
