  1. Do not confuse ownership with control. Right now their is a world grain shortage. Countries that are starving will NOT let grain produced on their land to be exported. Ownership is NOT control.

  2. As China defines itself as an enemy to the United States, do you really think the US will allow Chinese owned enterprises to behave in a way counter to its interests?? That is not how governments work -- especially the US government.
