  1. We think of bribes as being sign of corruption. For thousands of years in China, government administrators would expect "gifts" if people wanted something done, or a decision made in their favor. This was NOT considered corruption. It was considered normal, right, and proper. To not give them a "gift" would be considered rude, and ignorant. In the west, we call these "gifts" bribes. We expect judges, administrators, and government workers to do their jobs without any outside "gifts" or bribes. IMO, that is an alien concept in China and the CCP.

  2. Corruption is actually quite endemic and historic in China. Each empire was riven with corruption. The eunuchs that administered were famous for their corruption. Their armies were bloated and corrupt, poorly trained and badly led.

  3. Why do authoritarian rulers keep thinking democracies and democratic people are weak, and lack courage?? Can they not read? Can they not learn from history?? The most ruthless colonizers were democratic countries. The victors of the World Wars were democracies. The ones who fire bombed Dresden and Tokyo were democracies. If they think that we cannot kill by the millions, they are wrong. We not only can kill by the millions ---- we can do it without a second thought, and feel good and righteous doing it. If the CCP counts on us being reluctant to kill, they really don't know us.

  4. Wow, China has the wrong idea of the United States. Our humanitarian ideals are real, but very thin. Look at our past. We needed (wanted) our western lands to be free of Indians, and open to farming and ranching. What did we do? We killed 60 million buffalo so the plains Indians had no food. Look at WW2. Japanese army fought hard. What did we do? We used flame throwers to burn them in their holes. We dropped atom bombs on Japan. The US will have no problem sinking every Chinese fishing boat. Once they have been identified as combatants, we won't even try to separate the innocent. We will sink them all. If we EVER send nuclear missiles at a country like China or Russia ----- I GUARANTEE we will send them all. WHY? Simple we want to make sure that the enemy has as little ability as possible to send any more at us. So, if China sent 5 or 10 nuclear missiles at us -- we will send at least 200 missiles, MIRVed with 2000 warheads at them. Every city, every military base, every major government building will be destroyed. The places where senior CCP officials live will be wiped off the Earth.
