  1. Evangelicals have been filled with hate and intolerance for a long time. Evangelicals stopped being Christian a long time ago. They reject Love, Forgiveness, and Charity. They reject Tolerance. Evangelicals reject Understanding & Acceptance. They are the antithesis of Christian values.

  2. As an Agnostic, I don't care theologically either way. However, geopolitically, the Jews are playing with fire. Israel gets huge support from the US, a predominantly Christian nation. If this violence against Christians grows, I would expect it to change how America feels about supporting Israel.

  3. The "Mandate of Heaven" is how emperors justified their rule. But, it was also how they justified their foreign policy actions. For instance, ambassadors were expected to kowtow to the emperor. For trade, a country was supposed to become a vassal of China. Also, no rules or treaties could constrain the emperor. If you notice, China behaves that way. A contract will constrain you, but not China. Our companies are finding that out. China dismisses the rulings of world courts and the UN if they don't like the rulings. And, they do this without any idea that its wrong. They have the "Mandate of Heaven", don't they?? So, how can the laws and rules of man constrain Xi and the CCP.

  4. They seem to really believe the "Mandate of Heaven" because Xi and the CCP act like they really expect the world to submit and kowtow to them. They will be sorely disappointed.

  5. Other countries are stepping up to the plate. US has military alliances around the world. Japan, Philippines, and Australia are in the Indo-Pacific.

  6. Progressivism NEVER meant lax laws, or unenforced laws. Progressivism means arrest followed by prompt trial, and a sentence that best benefits society. So, Progressivism means prisons that are run in a way to reduce recidivism, with the idea that criminals can be rehabilitated. Progressivism means balancing the rights and potentials of all citizens. It does not mean what is happening in Portland. That does not represent ANY valid approach to governing. Their administrators are just plain idiots, IMO.
